On Wednesday the 25th of March some of Room 6 made some beehives while the rest of the class were working in the Library. We made them out of :

1)paper towel rolls
2)glue from  a hot glue gun
To make the bees you will need
1)pom-poms that are black and white
2)pipe cleaners
3)some googly eyes
Then we added some flowers.

Japanese Students

Today we had a visit from some Japanese students who knew very little English so it was an interesting experience. They helped us with our buddy art and weaving. We tried to ask simple questions to find out a bit about Japan.

Beekeeper Visit

Today some friends of Mrs Tito came to talk to us about beekeeping- Milton and his son Matthew! They showed us a hive and the parts that make up a hive. It was good to hear that bees are producing well in New Zealand.
