Selection Process

1. Share with students in your class the above criteria.

2. All students who are willing to stand for Te Roopu Kaiarahi must give a speech to the class on why they would be a good leader.

3. Each student confidentially votes for two other students in their class. They can’t nominate themselves.

4. Teacher records student results and includes their own nominations.

5. Results are brought to a Senior Team Meeting for a final decision, also taking into account the recommendations from the previous year’s teachers and Kaiarahi.
